Disability rights and advocacy are core to OPALUKE’s, and specifically my (Opal’s) beliefs. 

When I discovered via participation in SheSays research that the topic they’d be championing in their next campaign was about Hidden Disability and Hidden Pain, I had to get involved. 

Leaping in with the lens of my lived experience, I joined the team in the final sprint of this nationwide OOH campaign in partnership with JCDecaux. Working with a team of incredible volunteers, we took the #BelieveTheirPain campaign online and built the resource library to support those affected, allies and HR departments alike.
